Throughout the past decades the company has invested over one-hundred million euros into environmentally friendly products and processes which have broadened the automobile industries’ perspective on how to achieve climate and environmental objectives quicker than by using conventional technologies. With this long term commitment, Weber Motor takes their social responsibility particularly seriously.

The products made by Weber Motor set the standards for environmental compatibility in all areas which are characterized by low weight, reduced material usage, high efficiency and low emissions. These objectives are mirrored in the product specifications found in all Weber Motor developed products and are achieved through the application of the most modern development methods and processes. The achieved results, which cut consumption and engine weight by up to half in many target markets, urge us to continue on this path.

Weber Motor designs all manufacturing processes and technologies with the goal to avoid unnecessary environmental impacts and consequently uses this technical position in all assembly processes. This is achieved through, among other things, the recycling of raw materials, an environmentally friendly liquid waste management, reduction of motor generated electrical energy and the use of machines with best-in-class energy efficiency. With the E-LFT technology a process was successfully industrialized, which set the perspective of 21st century automobile architecture towards environmentally friendly lightweight construction products.

The company’s management feels obligated to act in accordance with legal and normative regulations in the prevention of environmental impacts, to make these regulations accessible for their employees at all times and to prove their compliance with designated persons.

 

All involved persons, including suppliers and development partners, are integrated into the company’s environmental policies. These objectives are documented into the environmental management system which are then implemented into and abided by the entire company and, beyond that, regularly proved by internal audits.
