This was accomplished within a short period of time and included the complete development of an engine operating system. The operational conditions posed a special challenge. Personal watercrafts are designed for accelerations up to 40 times of gravitational acceleration in order to afford drivers the necessary safety for jumps over wave crests. An example for our innovative ability is our patented aluminum-cast water-cooled turbocharger housing. With this development, we succeeded in lowering the critical engine-chamber temperature for many applications, and thus in making a clear contribution for the operational safety of turbo-charged engines in the recreational area.
