Our cutting-edge, partially automated engine assembly focuses on the concept of complete part traceability. At any given time, our personnel can determine which component was built into which engine under what manufacturing parameters. This allows for faulty parts to be isolated and banned from usage without delay. Even possible recalls of supplier parts can be limited to the actual faulty parts. The new production and manufacturing facilities are designed for an annual production of 50.000 engines. A 37 kW engine version for automotive applications has been developed and is ready for series production. Series production kicked off in December 2003 with two turbocharger versions for 80 kW and 100 kW engines.
